This place is a mess and has no idea what is where or who owns what.

was sucked in by a misleading Living Social ad that presented this as having Amish Built cabins and cottages set in a pretty scenic local. The reality is that the only cabins you could stay in (not told to you beforehand) were FEMA trailers. Very small and claustrophobic. TV did not work, A/C was not functional until after someone came and looked at it. Scared to close doors because the bedroom and bathroom are so small. Hot water lasted all of 5 minutes.

Update: Not sure that my former 5 star review is as true as it used to be. It's gone downhill quite a bit. :(

Buyer beware! When we bought lots it was supposed to be 365 year round but for the past 3 years breaks in the water lines and threatening to shut down water to entire park water was off for 6 weeks December- January 2015/2016. Now guards telling owners that they are closing park for 6 months locking gates will be unable to access your property and water shut off to entire park! If your still interested in buying make sure everything is in writing and notary of republic signed! Don't do anything without permits!

The environment reminded me of scrub brush. A lot of oil field workers had their campers there so it is more of an RV park then a resort. Just be warned that it is nothing like it is advertised. If you have no expectations then perhaps you will not be disappointed.

First off, they stated in a letter I received on behalf of my deceased father that he still owns property there. They asked for updates information and sent a really unprofessional, long letter explaining the new ownership and who they are. I don’t care as I’m sure nobody else cares. I refuse to give them information they asked for in letter form because this is their job, not mine or anyone else’s. I’ve heard many issues with this facility and I want no part in the drama or unprofessionalism. They are trying to pass off THEIR responsibly onto others, and I’ll not tolerate that behavior or treatment. Do your research ON YOUR OWN! It is your responsibility as an owner (new or not) to figure out who owns what. They have a very bad reputation and it’s certainly not getting any better. I’ve spoken with the clerk of courts and the recorders office in Noble county and neither of those offices had anything great to say about the facility and I’ve asked some friends in the area and they all said: STAY AWAY!!!!

We should have sued after my 60 year old mother had been bucked off the horse. She couldn't move well for a week, and was severely black-n-blue. Which could have been avoided. Our "TRAIL GUIDE" who wasn't a trail guide at all, they just had forgotten about us so they had to grab there closest employee to take us out on the horses. She took us right next to a camel. The horses started acting funny and scared so anyone in there right mind wouldn't take visitors BACK by it. But she did, and that's when my mother was thrown. This was just the breaking point. If you read the last guys review, we must have stayed in the same trailer. The blinds were missing, we were on top of a crazy steep hill, remotes were missing the backings, the chairs were broken, the hot tub we paid extra for was filthy, the customer service was a joke, and when I asked to talk to a manager I was turned down. I left my name and number and they still didn't call me. Its because they don't have to. They're extremely wealthy. His name is JJ Detweiler. It doesn't phase him to lose money on business like this, therefor when someone has a bad experience, he could care less. It's no skin off his back. Little people like us need to stand up to these big company's and boycott them. It's our only chance.

WORST PLACE EVER! I've never written a review online, I'm skeptical about giving out my information. I created a google account just to write a review on here in hopes to save any poor soul thinking about visiting this hell hole of a resort.
